The player does not download anything!
This can have several reasons. But most like is that you can not connect to other clients because your firewall does not allow to open connections to other clients. The Evolution Player indicates your connection status in the lower left corner:
Your client is connected
Your client is not connected
Your client is not connected because sharing is disabledIf you are connected it may take a while until the player starts downloading something. All you can do is wait or try later.
If sharing is disabled click on the icon or go to File > Preferences > Sharing and enable sharing and enable at least one music provider.
If you are not connected this might be because you need to configure your firewall to allow at least outgoing connections through port 5000, 3300, 3301, 80, and 8080. Usually your firewall will ask you if you want to allow this connections when you start the Evolution Player the first time. Hint: It's possible that your company network does not allow to open this connections. If this is the case all you can do is ask your system administrator to allow this connections.
